2007 Colorado Trip

Sunday, September 23

Today was called due to rain. It rained nearly all night and continued to rain throughout most of the morning. We had a leisurely omelet breakfast and drove in to Crested Butte. Just as we left the car, the sky opened up and made us feel welcome. My interest in Crested Butte was the T-shirt store. Some things never change. They had some great hiking T-shirts, so my souvenirs are set. We hit the grocery store for our final supply stop and returned to camp.

With the short day, we had plenty of time for our spaghetti and garlic bread dinner. Although it was delicious, we used nearly every pan and pot we had.

The day ended with another motorhome mystery. When we checked our fluid levels, we discovered that the battery level was down to low. We're plugged in to electricity here, so how can our batteries be running down? We ran the generator for 90 minutes, but the battery charge didn't change at all. Now what?
