Today was our driving day. We had 500 miles to reach the Zion River RV Resort near Virgin, Utah. That's just 15 miles outside of Zion National Park.
We left at 6:00, which was our planned departure time and everything went well until we reached Riverside. Then we hit the morning traffic. The traffic plus all the construction in San Bernadino cost us an extra 45 minutes. At least they finally have the construction done where we make the turn from the I-215 to I-15. That used to be such a tremendous mess as it seemed to change every time we took this route.
