Today was an easy drive south. Thanks to Ian's suggestion, we skipped Los Angeles completely by taking a "back way" to Interstate 15 from Palmdale. We dropped down into Riverside and cruised home. We didn't get our favorite stop at Panda Inn for Chinese in Ontario, but you can't have everything.
