Woodburn Outlet Mall
Our luck with the weather ran out today. The forecast was for cloudy skies and showers through most of the day. It was obvious this would not be a day to do any shooting, so we drove to the Woodburn Premium Outlet stores and did some shopping. They have North Face, Columbia, Eddie Bauer, Nike, and Adidas stores. We stop here on nearly every trip. This year, Carol updated her rain gear (probably a wise choice considering the weather forecast over the next couple of weeks). I bought a couple more warm, long-sleeve shirts to cope with the cool, damp conditions. The high point was a late lunch at Red Robin.
Our drive back to camp returned us to the back roads through the Christmas tree farms and lawn grass farms. Even on a cloudy, dreary day, it was a very relaxing drive.
It started raining in the early evening and rained all night. Tomorrow is forecast to have 100% chance of rain, so it's going to be another day in camp.
