On to Detroit Lake

Today, we moved to Detroit Lake State Park. It rained all day, which meant breaking camp and hooking up the Explorer was no fun at all. And when we arrived at Detroit Lake--it rained the entire time we set up camp. We have full hookups here, so that is a definite improvement.

We have a great campsite. We are parked among mountain hemlocks with green lawn stretching from our site out to the lake. If it weren't raining, it would be gorgeous. We are right next to the campsite we used the first time we were here while I was still working. My "office" was the table of the motorhome as I looked out over the lake and watched the ducks and geese go by. Working remotely definitely had its perks. And since sunset wasn't until nearly 9:00, we had plenty of time to go out and photograph in "golden light" after I finished working.
