Arch Rock Cormorants

Today is our last day in the clouds and cold. The morning started with very thick clouds, and it never really improved. It was a another very ugly day.

We drove to Arch Rock to look for the cormorant chicks the volunteer mentioned on an earlier visit. With our long lenses, we could see the cormorants nesting on Arch Rocks, but couldn't see any chicks. With all the clouds, there wasn't anything else to photograph so we drove back to camp and had lunch.

Carol did Facetime with Matt and the twins this afternoon, which was the high point of the day.
