Rain Delay
Today's activities were cancelled due to rain. We woke up to gray overcast skies and the prediction of more rain. And it didn't get any better during the day.
We developed images during most of the day. Since it was a dead day, we thought it would be a good day to go out for dinner. We chose a local BBQ place that had pretty good reviews. The reviews were right about the friendly service, but the food was bad. The ribs were dry and lacked flavor. What a disappointment!
We re-supplied our groceries and then filled the Explorer with gas at $1.79/gallon. The Safeway store had a gas station with special prices depending on how much you spent on groceries. That was the highpoint of our day.
