More Rain
The forecast said thundershowers would start at 6:00 a.m. and last for 3 hours. At 6:08, there was a single clap of thunder, and the motorhome roof played it's now-familiar rain song.
Our hope was that the storm would continue to follow the predictions and clear out to partly-cloudy by 1:00. As soon as it started clearing, we would drive to Bisti to shoot the formations as the clouds dispersed. The clouds and warm light from a clearing storm would be fabulous conditions for shooting. Evidently, the weather didn't get the memo about clearing to full sun by 4:00.
