The sound of rain on the roof was far beyond "plinking" overnight. It was pouring, and it poured nearly all day. It didn't stop until about 4:00 this afternoon. After two weeks of almost constant activity, today was a good day to relax. We slept late, had tacos for lunch, and tried to get caught up with some image processing and general cleanup.
This evening, we enjoyed dinner with Mark, one of Carol's friends who now lives in Seattle. We ate at Grazie Ristorante Italiano, a restaurant just down the street from the campground. They have an interesting method for remaining authentically Italian; they take the staff to Italy every two years. That's quite a commitment.
After dinner, we returned to the campground and finished the night processing images.
