Roseburg to Portland

We were on the road by 8:00 today in hopes of arriving in Portland in time for Carol to join Matt and Jackie for the latest sonogram of the twins. We knew it was going to be very close, but heavy traffic on Interstate 205 doomed our attempt. We continued on to our campsite at Sandy Riverfront RV and got everything set up. I think we're in the same campsite we had last time we were here. It's the only campsite I know that requires 30 feet of hose to reach the sewer. It was still hot today, but at least it didn't reach triple digits.

We drove over to Matt & Jackie's house in the late afternoon and walked to a Cena Ristorante for a delicious, Italian dinner. Matt and Jackie live in an area called Sellwood. It's a very cool neighborhood where they can walk to lots of restaurants and eclectic shops.
