Another Day of Clouds
Today was supposed to be a good day for shooting, but it never materialized. We woke to completely overcast skies, but the weather forecast predicted that the clouds would burn off. But each weather update had the sun breaking through an hour or two later than the previous forecast. In the end, the sun never showed its face, and we didn't shoot a single frame.
In the late afternoon, we returned to the outlet mall. Carol wanted to buy a couple of things she saw the other day, and I bought a couple of things for the twins.
We hit the car wash next to put some sparkle back into Ruby, and to get the accumulation of pine needles and sand out of the carpet. Ruby smiled all the way back to camp.
And then it rained overnight...
