Tourists in Moab
Today started out with an overcast sky, and it stayed that way all day. It didn't rain, but we also didn't shoot a single image. The good news was that I didn't need to spend 3 hours downloading, re-naming, and backing up any images tonight.
We had pancakes for breakfast and just relaxed all morning. We drove to Moab in the afternoon to get the door lock fixed on the Explorer. It had a bad habit of not letting Carol get out. We timed it so we could eat lunch while the Ford dealership replaced the lock. The Moab Grill was right next to the dealership, and they seemed busy whenever we drove by. They seemed a safe choice and preferable to Burger King and McDonalds just up the street. WRONG! We had one of the worst meals we've ever had on a trip. It was bad!
After recovering from lunch, we picked up the Explorer and drove to the center of town to play tourist. I couldn't leave Moab without new T-shirts, and Carol found some beautiful silver earrings. And that was the most exciting thing we did today.
