Camp Day

Today was a camp day. We relaxed, answered emails, developed images, did a little cleanup, and warmed ourselves in the sun.

Beach Sunset

After dinner, we hiked over the sand dunes to reach the beach just before sunset. It was only about a 1/4 mile from our campsite, but walking in the soft sand over the dunes, made it seem much farther. The dunes were completely covered by tall grasses that swayed in the breeze. They should keep the dunes stabilized.

We reached the beach about 15 minutes before sunset, and we each found our "perfect" place to shoot through the dune grasses. The grasses created a frame for the shot, and the clouds added some drama. After the sun set, we walked down to the waterline and shot reflections in the sand.

We didn't shoot a lot of images today, but we shot some of our best images today.
