Another Camp Day
Our goal for today was to return to Cape Meares and Three Arch Rocks for sunset. It is such a beautiful area that we wanted to shoot it in evening golden light. We discussed driving up to Astoria to see the Victorian Houses, but decided we didn't want to take the chance that we'd wear ourselves out doing the walking tour. Astoria had been completely overcast every other day, so today was our only chance.
As it turned out, we should have driven up to Astoria. As the day wore on, the clouds rolled into our area also, and there was no chance of a sunset at Three Arch Rocks. In mid-afternoon, we drove back to the Big Wave Cafe and had the Chocolate Eclair Pie we didn't have with our dinner on Friday night. Otherwise, the day was spent walking around the campground, reading, and developing images.
