Pittock Mansion
We spent a beautiful, sunny morning with Matt, Jayden, and Kira at the Pittock Mansion. The Pittock Mansion was built in 1914 and stands on a wooded hill 1000 feet above the city of Portland. It has an amazing 180-degree view of downtown Portland. The French Chateau-style mansion sits among beautifully-landscaped grounds that provided plenty of interesting things for the girls to explore and lots of room to run around.

We stopped for a BBQ lunch and then enjoyed a leisurely afternoon at Matt's. Today was our last day in Portland, so we wanted to spend as much time as we could with Matt and the twins. We also had to get all of our gear ready to leave tomorrow, so the time went quickly and the goodbyes came too soon.
